For four years now, the Louron Valley (in the Hautes-Pyrénées department) has been working hard to create the Louron Bike & Trail area. With 30 enduro trails, 12 XC loops, seven legendary passes and wild gravel routes, the Louron is sure to delight any bike fan!

Since 2021, the site, which is wholly certified by the French Cycling Federation (FFC), has hosted the only Pyrenean leg of the Enduro World Series. This world-renowned enduro area is enjoyed and endorsed by the world’s elite enduro riders. In 2022, the finals for the international circuit and the title of World Champion took place in the village of Loudenvielle, in the heart of the valley.

The Louron Valley features runs with varying levels of difficulty, so anyone can enjoy themselves there. It continues to develop, now with the creation of a green MTB run in the form of a flow trail, with 1,250 metres of elevation change over 13 kilometres of a fun, accessible trail, one of the four biggest in all of Europe! The mountains biking area will include an FFC-certified XCO MTB stadium, the first of its kind in the Pyrenees. That facility will be used in particular by high-level cycling teams as they prepare for the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Sunn, whose history began in the Pyrenees, is now officially a part of the adventure for the next five years, marking a powerful comeback for the brand in its home mountain range. Under this partnership, Sunn will be outfitting the valley’s bike patrols with products developed and made in France. Sunn will also have a strong presence here, through our riding ambassadors, as we share our experience with this setting at the different biking events in the valley, like the Gravel des Nestes, the Regional Pump Track Championships and especially the Pyrénées Bike Festival, the main event in the Louron Valley which played host to the final round of the Enduro World Series in 2022!

By setting up operations in the Louron Bike & Trail area, Sunn is treating itself to an ideal testing and training ground for our enduro, cross-country, gravel and cyclosportive MTB teams, plus a fantastic office from where to imagine the bikes of tomorrow!
